Celebrating National Coast Guard Day!

Today is National Coast Guard Day, and we thought we’d celebrate by saying, “Thank you” to the members of our Coast Guard for all the brave work they do. We hope that none of our policyholders are ever in need of their services; however if they are, they can be sure not only they will be safe, but their boat will also be covered by their watertight watercraft policy.

The US Coast Guard wears many hats and protects our country from outside threats. They prevent the trafficking of drugs and ensure intercostal trade is fair and legal. They keep our marine ecosystems protected from poachers and boaters that are not obeying the laws. The Coast Guard is also the US’s most precious search and rescue team. Rescuing many people every year who are in accidents at sea.
